    Why do I have to update my xbox one s?


    Today I bought a Xbox one S

    I'm living in countryside. So Wifi is **** slow.

    When I try to update my xbox, it turned off after an hour. So I can't update it.

    I don't want to update it. Is there any way to use xbox without **** update?

    New dashboard question

    so I have two Xbox ones in my house, mine and my sons
    I am in the preview program only and my son is not in any programs
    He turned his Xbox on today to see an update which was strange since we both have instant on
    He now has the new dashboard and I'm on the original one
    How did his Xbox one get update when he isn't in any preview programs? And why is making be not update?

    I have owned my Xbox one for 24 hours and all it has done is update. This has ruined my gameplay experience. Why do we not get the option to for go updates like for the 360?

    Deleting and re installing on my xbox one did not work, and there was no update available for my xbox. Tomorrow I will have access to my xbox one s which has my updated save. Im still not sure why I cant get that latest save onto this xbox.

    This is more than likely the power brick has failed. Same thing happened to my x360 and the reason I updated to Xbox one X. Time to update to a new console I suggest.

    Either the next gen Series S/X models or XBox one S/X.

    You won't look back, but will wonder why you didn't update earlier.

    Hi it's a Xbox series s, any other information do you need? The problem is other uses like Playstation have a 36g update and pc but me as a Xbox series s user have a 144gb which is the full game to be update why it was just suppose to be a 36g update.
