Why do I have to put my email and my Microsoft password for my account to be able to go to...

Could it be that in my PlayStation I have another email and password and in Microsoft account diferent email and password than the one I put when I installed my PS??

I do have a question...

on my iPhone I use gmail and my xbox email is through my mom's school email address. Neither of which is a microsoft account to my knowledge. My email I use for my xbox doesn't come through my phone.

1. Do I put the app password from the computer as my password on my gmail account?

2. Do I even need to have the two step verification?

The email account it was tied to is old and can not be recovered, Microsoft themselves have disabled my password, on both my email account and my xbox live account, why have they done this, if Microsoft reinstated my passwords then i could log in and sort
it, but there seems to be nobody able to do this or no number to ring and get it sorted, i have now cancelled my order for the xbox one as Microsoft have disabled my live account, resetting the password is not an option for me, and as my account has not been
hacked and i know the password, Microsoft are the only other influence on my account, they seem to be happy enough to block my password, and yet they seem to be unable to unblock it, what about my ms points, and all my exclusive items on my avatar, Microsoft
seem ok to withhold these from me, i also play ffxi, which i can't because it is tied to my xbl account, this i pay for, so this is costing me money, yet ms are stopping me from playing

Well there was a security update and it needs to have your email and password. so I put in my email and password (it works to get on my microsoft account and xbox.com account) but it will not let me sign into the xbox console to get noto xbox live

You would need to have your account email and password in order to login, If you do not have this information then go ahead and take a look at the following to see if you are able to recover it.

• Find your Microsoft account email address
• Recover and reset your lost Microsoft account password
