Why do I have to power cycle my xbox series S every time I join a party just so I can hear...

Yes, idk if it's broken or something but I can join parties on both xbox's, I looked it up and you need xbox live gold to start and join parties. The Series S has only my account, and my account has my series S as my home xbox, and I can still join parties and talk(I'm in one right now in fact).

I went to my settings and everything was enabled. I blocked everything and power cycled then alowed everything and power cycled. It still isn't working. Now when I record message I can hear audio. I look in my game chats and I can see that people are talking in game but still can't hear them. Then I join an Xbox party and try to speak but it's not working.

The whole Party Chat not hearing us thing, I kinda noticed something.

IF I turn on the Xbox with my controller, NOT with Voice, it seems to work every time.

So if I know I'm gonna play some games with friends I turn on controller first.

Otherwise the power cycle works.

But besides that, yeah, why is there even a problem like this? Needs to be addressed.

My game chat doesn't work in any of my games from cod to fortnight. I went through all my game and Xbox communication sittings and changed them to allow game chat and text and power cycled the Xbox and unplugged the power and waited about 10 minutes to turn it back on. I did that a total of 4 times. I even tried turning the sittings off then do the reset and power cycle then turn them back on and still no game chat. Although my party chat works and I can talk on there but as soon as I switch to game chat it stops working and no one can hear me. This is really frustrating because this is a brand new xbox series s console and this happens a week after I got it.

Same happens on my Series S! but only with Warzone (not Rocket League or Fortnite - haven't tested any other game) - my console doesn't make the powering off sound or anything though, and I can continue to speak/hear party chat but just cannot do anything
on screen. Power cycling is the only thing to bring it back to normal (until I try play Warzone again..). I went as far as to reboot my console to factory defaults, and still the issue persists. Not sure if it is a software or hardware issue :/
