The crossplay option is developed by each developer studio, it is not something that depends on Xbox.

It can be disabled, some games incorporate the option to do so directly in the game settings and for those that do not incorporate it in this way, you can deactivate it in your account by logging in here.

so how about xbox one players playing cod with xbox series x players who have a huge jump in fps, should we also disable crossplay between xbox one and xbox series x. plus the exploits and cheats on xbox platform are just as bad as pc, from modded hardware to aim botting too.

sony will soon have most games crossplay as they are moving most of their games to pc too, as pc makes more money for gaming companies than all consoles combined and has double the player count than all consoles combined too.

If you want to play PC games then you need to play them on your PC. If your PC isn't good enough then you'll need to buy one that is. You can't play PC games on a Series X.

Both my self assembled PC gaming tower and my Series X are connected to my new LG C2 OLED. I use either my Xbox Series X controller or my 8bitdo Pro+ for most single player PC games. You're not restricted to keyboard and mouse for PC games for the most part.
