Why do i get suspended for something that others do not?

I was playing fallout 76, a game which has an option to trade or sell items to other players, most if not all looking for group posts either ask to buy or sell a specific item. I have been suspended before for my usage of the word “selling” and i tried using a shortcut ‘lts’ to sell one of my weapons like many other players do, ( if you check the looking for group post they do use that or similair terminology ), yet i get suspended ( even if its for a day i still get a strike ) while others do not. I find this unfair, and ( pardon my language ) stupid how we cannot use the function looking for group, to ask for help in getting or selling an item. But i understand that rules are rules, and i don't speak ill of anyone at microsoft. And i cannot submit a case review of either of the suspensions ive received. If possible, id like to be able to submit a review, if not, i wont even use the option anymore. My friend asked for a building material, silver, and got suspended, even without breaking any rules. So is the system broken or are we breaking more hidden rules for simple asks? Id like to know, and i am not trying to be aggresive, but im rather confused.

People are getting suspended for that all the time. The ones you still see are people who don't care and continue to do it or people who don't know they're breaking the rules. But if all of those posts are reported, those players will get the same thing. There are just so many people playing the game also that there just continues to be a lot of the same posts.

And there are many people offering services too, ive seen many posts like that, yet theyre still there along with the other posts.

People constantly get suspended for this all the time. Usually there are at least a half dozen posts here per day on average made by people who got suspended for this very reason.

Sadly, LFG posts are infamous for having cheaters and scammers using it to offer services.

This is why Xbox has a strict policy with enforcement on anything that might sound like a breach of the Community Standards.

It's not allowed to make LFG posts about selling or trading items.

I understand your point, but it is as Smwutches said, all posts of that nature that are reported end up on a suspension.

If you search the forums you will find many topics on this subject.

Unfortunately, this is necessary to prevent scammers from succeeding.
