    Why do I get a pop up saying i need xbox gold to access online while playing gta 5 online?


    hi I have just gotten a free 1 month trial for xbox gold and when I play gta 5 online I get a message constantly saying I need xbox gold to access this feature randomly even tho I have gold and I am playing online. Any help?

    When I try playing GTA online it gives me a message saying 'your profile doesn't have permission to access GTA online' how do I fix it.

    I bought GTA 5 off the xbox live marketplace at my friends house. i get home to play it and while starting up a message pops up saying " An Online user profile is required for this version of the game. Please sign in now." do i have to be connected to xbox
    live ? i do not have internet access at the moment at my house so it sucks if you have to be connected to play...

    I uninstalled and reinstalled gta online and 5 to 10 minutes after I started playing gta online the same alert popped up and kicked me out.

    Hello,

    This means that you do not have a Xbox LIVE Gold membership. You need a gold membership in order to be able to play online with others. You're more than likely getting this message when trying to access GTA Online.
