Why do all game pass multiplayer games crash on my xbox series s ??Minecraft is only exception

I own a series s console and I only own GTA 5 for my console unfortunately.

I did see game pass core, but after reading into it it's basically just Xbox live gold, I did see a version of game pass, but only for Xbox consoles only (no cloud or PC) it gives you access to the game pass library with the exception of EA play.

I was unsure (as it did not say) that I can continue to play Minecraft etc online with friends.

I downloaded the update and restarted but only non game-pass games launched except Minecraft. Sea of thieves and Forza horizon still only launch and sit on the first loading screen forever and then crash with no errors.

With regards to Game pass core, they only released FAQ's about this but so far it is still a litle similar with Xbox Live Gold. You will still get use the online multiplayer feature on an Xbox 360 console.

But based on FAQ, the game pass catalogue is for Xbox One and series consoles only. Here is what it says on the faq's: Online console multiplayer benefits will be supported on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Xbox 360 consoles. (Multiplayer games not included in the Game Pass Core catalog are sold separately, and access to multiplayer free-to-play games is open to every Xbox player).

Access to the Game Pass Core catalog is only available on Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One consoles.

Do you mean an Xbox One S or an Xbox Series S? The game is not available for the One.

The game plays the same with or without Game Pass. You would just need Gold if you wanted to play online multiplayer.

The naming is fine

If you mean system requirements it's simple

Xbox one games just say xbox because there js no requirements they are just compatible with all 3 versions

S/x just means the series s or x and only compatible with those

With the exception ot digital games disk games can only be compatible with disk systems

That's common sense

If you are complaining about flightsim saying s/x again you are misunderstanding the point.

All XBOX one games work with all xbox onrs except for digital only ones as per common sense

That's why there is no requirements for xbox one games other then being xbox one
