    Why didn't my name change?


    So, I just payed 10 dollars to change my gamertag. It took my money but didn't change the display. My xbox profile shows both the old, "Assassinkay#1014," but also the new "SirFiddle WT," usernames. Why did it do this and not change both?

    Why didn't my name change?

    It takes time for the servers to update. I only see the new tag when I look you up. It doesn't show the old one at all.

    is this the name you wanted ?

    If not then two things

    First.and foremost you don't get a free name change

    You already used it when you created your account

    The policy you are speaking of doesn't apply to you If you read the full text you would know why

    In order to get a free name change you would've had to have been issued a random name on creation

    Since your name is customized you don't qualify

    Charged for involuntary name change

    I didn't receive any message or warning... nothing at all. One of my friends asked why I wasn't on their list anymore. I logged in with my xbox glass app and noticed my name was changed. I then contacted support.

    No really I didn't choose this name. I logged in and suddenly this was my new name. I did not choose it. I'm not sure why you're so stuck on this.
