    Why didnt i get my refund


    I was issued a refund and didnt receive the money. Im using a non-reloadable giftcard to purchase a game on xbox. When I refunded the game, i didnt get any money on my card, and i lost the game. Is there anyway I can talk to support about this issue?

    Hi, I hope you're doing great out there. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you with your concern.

    Once the refund has been approved and already stated as "refunded" on your order history (https://account.microsoft.com/billing/orders), it will now depend on your bank or the card provider on when they will credit back the money but it usually takes 5-7 business days if we used our bank.

    I recommend reaching out to the gift card provider so they can check, Peter.

    Yes i did buy it through the Microsoft store, Thats why im a bit confused as to why the product didnt work. I wouldnt be able to get a refund for it would i?
    My friend actually had to buy the game on their end because my gift didnt work.

    I didnt even get the coins in the first place, that's why i wanted the refund. I'm not trying to abuse some the refund system or anything. I was clueless to the refund limit.
