That's how pre-orders work. They'll let you install everything, but if they are unable to charge you and the order is cancelled, then you lose access unless you fulfill the payment.

That's how pre-orders work. Again, check your transaction history to see if it shows the order as being complete there. If it shows as cancelled or something else, then the payment never went through and you were not charged for the game so you would still have to buy it.

Sorry no that’s not the case when I bought it it said “payment complete” or a”payment successful” whatever the thing says when purchase a game I had the game in my library and installed it. The game was installed and purchased on May 2 and all of a sudden I get an email from Microsoft that says payment failed. Sorry if I sound mad responding to you I’m just upset that I had a game I payed for removed from me almost a month later and two days from release.

Check your transactions at http://account.microsoft.com to see if it shows the order as being complete. Pre-orders are not charged until within 10 days of release if you pay with a credit card/Paypal. If they are unable to charge you at that time, the order is cancelled.
