Why did they ban downloading images in the first place

ah yes i would be i just dont understand why yall would remove it but keep the upload a custom gamerpic option still avalible cause people would still as easily be able to download stuff to there usb and still mod games etc.

Are you referring to the option available in Microsoft Edge?

If that’s the case, Microsoft removed this option couple months ago

Please keep in mind that modding games using a file explorer app is not allowed and can count as modding the console (and this can lead to a console ban)
So, probably Microsoft decided to disable the download option due to that and more like ngocphi says

But you can change the profile picture using your phone. If you ask me it’s more convenient

Well they disabled downloading period over browser it's a sansboxed browser anyways you wouldn't be able to do anything with what you download anyways as there is no file Explorer

i was wrongfully banned the with a communications suspension but when i looked at why i was banned it was cause of my gamer pic now why was i given a communications suspension i was wrongfully banned in the first place the picture wasnt breaking guide lines i dont see how this photo break guidlines
