    They were working perfectly fine, now nobody will even ask for it to be back since not a lot of people know about this to begin with.

    Not everything is supported

    You might have a extension from your Chrome (if you are using it)

    It happens to me and the Rewards extension, this feature does not allow me to use google as a new tab.
