    WHY DID SOUND STOPPED WORKING ON ALL HEADSETS


    Hi, my son is all of the sudden having problems with sound headset not working. It was working for a minute and then quit and now not working at all. We have checked the NAP to make sure it is open and it is and we have done a hard reset on the Xbox one,
    we have returned headsets and purchased another think it was a short in cord. Can anyone help us out on how we might can fix this?

    Turtle Beach x31 not working i guess

    So i just bought the headset adapter nonsense. I updated and followed all the procedures it worked for like five minutes tops. as i was watching tv enjoy the sound from my headset it just stopped working.. i don't know why or what happened but now i get
    no sounds at all.. i try pressing the volume up button and never hear the little beeping sounds. i try pressing the up bottom with the little controller emblem and nothing works. Has anyone encountered this? or did i just do something wrong?

    can he hear the other people in the party?

    that's happened to me a few times and it usally fixes its self after I mess around with the internet and stuff.

    what is popping up when if anything at all when he cant hear?

    Oh really? Then why did my last headset work flawlessly?

    Why are these headsets 5.1 Surround Sound as well, work PERFECTLY on every other game but this one?

    I have the same headset and adapter, and i have put it away just because i needed the chatmix to work on PC. I would also like to know exactly WHY Microsoft Are unable to make this work on PC. I suspect the adapter is not working at all the same way as the Xbox does regarding communication with the headset, which is incredible considering the fact that Microsoft makes both Xbox, headset, adapter, PC and operating system, and any customer is forced to use the adapter to achieve even a barely acceptable sound on PC. It is basically not usable for me at all, only as a last resort if my old wired headset (with a working chatmix!!!) stops working.
