Why did my Xbox One Gamer Score reset?

Hey Microsoft, I'm wondering why my Xbox One Gamer Score just went down the drain. I just got DayZ and I joined a server, played, and left, then I hopped on rocket league, and I start getting achievements I've already gotten, so I get suspicious and check
my Gamer Score, and what do I see... I see 360 Gamer Score! Even though before that I had 9965 Gamer Score, So of course I start freaking out, and I look up "why did my Xbox One Gamer Score reset?" and I started reading the posts, and the two main things I
saw was that I was either modding my Gamer Score, which first of all I don't even know how to do, and the other one was I was in some sort modded server, and that could be the main reason due to the fact that you have to load into servers on DayZ. It would
be nice if you could help me out microsoft, and would there be a possible way to get all my Gamer Score, if so please give it back, I've spent so much time getting all those achievements.

It's a glitch that happens randomly. There's no way to force a fix. It usually fixed itself within a few days.

Ok, first i turned my xbox one on and it had the correct gamer score. I then did the power cycle, and it reverted back to the old gamer score. Im also really apprehensive doing the "soft factory reset". Will that delete everything on my console, like
my account and gamer score, or will they still be there after i do the reset?

well i hacked my gamer score then got reset now i have my old gamer score but my friends see my new gamer score why is this going on

Your friends, and the rest of everyone on Xbox LIVE (including these forums) are seeing the correct, reset score. No action will likely be taken to raise your score to the amount you see.
