Why did my pre order money come out right away?

I'd personally prefer the money to come out straight away, but I guess this makes it easier when cancelling pre-orders. Not that I pre-order games often anyway.

looking to pre order this but does anyone know if play take the money starigt away or does it come out closer to the date of release

Sorry to hear you are having this issue.

Pre-orders are not charged right away, they will place a hold on your account for the money and once the game comes out, the money will be pulled from the account.

It may be possible that you did not have the amount of money for the pre-order when the release day came.

I have personally experienced this before mistaking that I had money in my account for a pre-order when in fact the money was not taken right away.

Check your purchase history and make sure the account was actually charged. This LINK will help you with

I'd rather they take the money straight away, that way I can pre-order games a few months in advance, but spread the cost out if I pre-order a different game a month. Now, considering there are two games I want that are out in October, that means a hefty
sum coming out

Hi i also pre ordered fifa 23 with the bonuses and the money was supposed to come out today however the purchase was declined as i didn’t have enough funds in my account however i now have the funds and was wondering if the money will come out or will i have to pre order again and miss out on the bonuses?
