Why did My Minecraft Java Launcher flip to "Buy Now" mode two days ago?

The account was a legacy account. It was originally registered to a Cox Communications email account. I moved so I transferred it to an outlook account that I set up for Microsoft Xbox gaming, for my son. My son migrated it last Feb. and it immediately failed. It didn't recognize my license any longer. I have been working with Microsoft to get my account back. My original confirmation email was on my Cox email account. I didn't think about saving it. So I cannot prove I bought it so many years ago. One day it started working so everything was good until 2 days ago when reverted back to buy now. My son migrated it from the outlook account to the very same outlook account. I am not sure if that has anything to do with the problem. I dumped the launcher and the .dmg's from my downloads, I logged off of both Minecraft and Microsoft accounts. I dumped my trash, turned off the wifi and then turned off the MacBook Pro. I waited an hour and reloaded the launcher from here: https://www.minecraft.net/en-us/download. It didn't work.

Did you make sure that you use the correct Microsoft account you used to migrate the game account? You may refer to the email confirmation about your account migration.

If you have another email address or account, please try to sign in using it. You may also consider reinstalling your game or launcher.

Have you tried to uninstall the launcher and all Minecraft editions you have on your computer?

Also, did you purchase the Minecraft: Java & Bedrock Edition for PC (the Bundle, released two days ago) or did you purchase Java Edition or Windows Edition before the offer?

I bought Java Edition on 24 May 2022. But I refunded it.

I bought the Minecraft: Java & Bedrock Edition for PC (the Bundle, released two days ago) on Minecraft official website (https://www.minecraft.net/en-us/store/minecraft-java-bedrock-edition-pc). on 8 June 2022.

I have uninstalled the Minecraft Launcher and reinstalled it.
