Why did my friend get an email saying I got them banned?

Hello. So today me an my friend both had issues with xbox live service's. My friend got a message from xbox stating their account has been banned, finally got it resolved and he got an email from Microsoft support stating I MASS REPORTED my friends account and got him banned. But I never did that. I never report his account once and I've been barely on my account due to work even i have ZERO interest in gettint a FRIEND banned. has my account been hacked? I'

Have you actually seen the email? The enforcement team don't give information about who reports an account.

But I got the Email saying excepted? I don't get it? I did what it said to. Then I got a friend request from the Email thing. Ugh. this is annoying.

I got it from GAME which has the closest relationship to Microsoft in the UK. Why would I be lucky? 3 of my other best Xbox Live friends are from the UK and have them.

he can read the email or the msg on his console enforcement.xbox.com is the only way to find out otherwise

He would need to go to http://enforcement.xbox.com for information about his suspension
