Why did Microsoft lie to me

Sorry to hear about what happened. This is clearly not the situation I want you to be in. Just to set your expectation, due to our account safety and security, only us the account owners have the ability to recover our accounts and verify their ownership. Even a Microsoft Support cannot recover our accounts on our behalf because they're protected by the security information we have setup on our accounts which we only have access to.

In regard to your Minecraft Java account issue, I believe that it was already migrated to a Microsoft account which means that it's part of your Microsoft account as a single account across Microsoft/Xbox services you are using. Whatever happens to your Microsoft account will reflect to all services it's being used to.

The best option you can do here is to keep trying to recover your account through the account recovery form here https://account.live.com/acsr. Please make sure to use the new alias (hacker's email) as the account you're trying to get back into.

If it is taking longer than usual, try to raise another ticket and constantly check your email for notifications, as they are the only team who can assist you with this concern.

Yep...you gotta watch out for these kind of accounts, they will lie, make up stories, beg and even, even ask....if you would buy them points or Gold subscription time because they have to provide for their family before their gaming hobby.
