Why did keys combination of down arrow key and another key stop working on my laptop keyboard ?

What's the other key that you want to combine? Shift? Control? Or which one?
Also, do you know when this started to happen?
I mean, do you know if your system, a hardware component or the game received an update before this started to happen?

In the meantime try this:
A. Open task manager > select the startup tab > disable all the programs listed there temporarily
Restart the PC and try again

B. Do a clean boot in your PC and try again

Hi, and did you tried testing other games in your PC to see if maybe the issue persist?

Or you can download an app to test your keyboard functionality (even there are some websites that allow you to do that) and see if maybe the problem persists as well

I think the left shift key cannot combine either as I tried shift+ctr+del and it cannot open task manager and I remember this problem started months before but I ignored it. Only the right side shift+crt+delete works. And I don't think the mods are the problems since I still played without problems when just applied the mods and furthermore, I tried entering safe mode and tested my keyboard but nothing changes.

I think I might go to a repair store to clean up my keyboard and see if the problem persists.

I tried creating a new administrator also and the problem remains.

Hello and thanks for answering ! The down arrow doesn't combine with several keys like the left and right arrows while pressing at the same time and the left shift and right alt key as well as the tab key. There might be some more keys but I haven't tested all. And most of the keys still works normally with the down arrow key.

It started to happen 3 days ago. There was no hardware component update or the game that received an update before this started to happen. I've done some moddings to the game recently during the period this problem started.

I tried disabling startup apps but it didn't solve my problem.

Let's try to isolate the problem a bit more, for this. Are you able to remap your keys?
Instead of the arrows use WASD and check if something similar happens with W

Also, did you already tried to disable all the mods enabled (or delete them) to see if that makes a difference?

And, try creating a new local administrator user in your PC and try from there
