Why did I get suspended on xbox for asking to trade on diablo 4 using looking for groups app.

Sadly, LFG posts are infamous for having cheaters and scammers using it to offer services.

This is why Xbox has a strict policy with enforcement on anything that might sound like a breach of the Community Standards.

When posting in LFG, it is not allowed to trade items.

You have to use Diablo's own trade channel

Lfg is just looking for group that's it

You violate channel rules on any server you will be punished

I was playing diablo 4, many people use looking for group as a market to trade in game items for in game gold, i was simply wanting to sell gems that you can socket into your armor and weapons, wts means want to sell in many mmos

Looking for Group posts are for looking for people to play a game with.That's it.

Asking for trades,in game items.anything else etc. is not allowed which is probably why you were suspended.

And before you say "other people do it",if you see something like that then report it or nothing will happen to them.

And more to your point, yes looking for group is outside the game, but it is used to look for posts for a specific game. It's not as if my trading post for Diablo 2 is going to show up in halo just as an example.
