Why did I get banned permanently when I already had a suspension?

I changed my gamer pic to something Xbox thought was offensive which I didn’t know my account was then suspended for 24 hours from talking parties changing profile etc. I was fine with that but then later on when I was playing mw2 It kicked me out saying I got banned I checked the enforcement tab and they were all issued at the same time. I haven’t had a build up of suspensions either it wasn’t 24 hours to 2 days to 4 day to a week to a fortnight it was just out of nowhere. This account means the world to me I have spent over £500 on it over a 100 games have at least 30 days on them and this is my only escape from the world

Was it an in game ban or an Xbox Live account ban? If in game, then you will need to contact Activision, but if Xbox Live account ban, you should check on the Xbox enforcement website here https://support.xbox.com/help/family-online-safety/enforcement/enforcement-history

There's no set number of suspensions that will lead to a permanent ban. You can get a permanent ban without having any prior suspensions. Or you can get 5 suspensions and then get a permanent ban.

They recently updated/moved the enforcement site and I think it's had some issues. It doesn't necessarily mean your enforcement history is clean.

The case review on the enforcement site is the only way to have the ban reviewed. If they upheld their decision, there is nothing else that can be done. With a case review it means they have already reviewed your account twice and determined you did do something
that violated the code of conduct.

As far as being a permanent ban versus a shorter suspension, suspension length can vary based on severity of the situation as well as any previous enforcement actions. So if you've had multiple enforcement actions in the past, that would factor into why
you received a permanent ban.

So if you did theses "glitches" on a different account why even mention it?

You mention a history of comms suspensions,well they all add up & if a account get's too many suspensions then eventually it will get permanently banned.

As already mentioned,if you've filed for a case review & the decision was upheld then that's it,there's nothing else you can do.
