Why did I get banned after I pre-ordered MW3?

Permanent banned on call of duty it applies to all games related to the service

Since callofduty.com covers all of activisions cod games

This happened to me too. I was banned(unfairly btw) on Warzone 2 and hence on MW2. They even banned me from Caldera and MW(2019) for just opening up that game after the MW2 ban. Just when I had gone back to check if they had overturned my ban by any luck, bam! A MW3 ban. I haven't even bought the game, ffs. I guess I'll keep getting banned till they make a new warzone.

I've bought Cold War but that works fine. Maybe only Modern Warfare games then?

I'm sorry to hear that you were suspended from your MW2 account, unfortunately I couldn't tell you exactly if you could play MW3 if it's with the same account, I highly doubt you can do it. In the case of a refund, remember that Xbox rules are that you must request a refund within 14 days of the purchase/reservation. Apart from that, you cannot download/use the purchased content or, unfortunately, you cannot obtain a refund. .

Apparently if you get banned on MW2 and/or Warzone 2 you can't play MW3. Activision added MW3 to my list of banned games. So I went to Blizzard and requested a refund. It was accepted.

Thanks Activision for nothing.
