Why did I get a 2 week long suspension and not a 1 week long

It's possible you got reported for 1 thing and while they were investigating that, they found something else that violated rules. Or you had previously been reported for something else and both suspensions were just issued around the same time.

It wasn't that bad only 3 letters and it was by mistake, it just doesn't seem correct...oh and like I said it is showing I have 2 suspensions one for 1 week and another for 2 weeks...could this be a glitch?

Suspension length can vary based on previous enforcement actions and the severity of the situation. It would be entirely up to the enforcement team and they do not use the forums so no one here can tell you exaclty why they gave you that length of time.

Suspensions don't happen immediately. Nothing you did the day you were issued the suspension resulted in the suspension. It likely happened weeks or months ago.

Yes, people would abuse it....how long did it take for the twitch/PS4 drunk woman stripped stuff to hapen?? 1-2 weeks....that is probably why there is still a delay with getting twitch streaming on xbox one....
