    Why certain games are not running on Xbox PC App even after meeting system requirements.


    I would like to report a critical issue and request an immediate resolution. Lately, I’ve been encountering problems with several games not launching through the Xbox App. There are no error messages or notifications; the games simply fail to start. I’m using the latest version of the HP Omen, so my system easily meets the necessary requirements. For instance, games like Manor Lords and Frostpunk 2 are affected. What’s odd is that I played Manor Lords just a week ago without any issues, but over the past two days, it hasn’t launched. I’ve tried all the repair and reset options, as well as reinstalling the Xbox App, but the problem persists.

    can only download some games on game pass windows 10 and not others?

    My laptop also will run certain games and not others. I found this information on the Xbox Game Pass for PC (Beta) website:

    1) Some games require Windows 10 to be fully updated.

    2) Check the individual game detail page to confirm if your machine specifications and operating system version meet the minimum requirements set forth by the developer.

    Hi,

    I don't know how old your PC is, but even the current version of the Lenovo 510 fails to meet the minimum requirements to run Forza Horizon 4. This PC is sold as a home office PC, it's not really meant for games. This is likely why the game fails to load.

    @HailofSteel: If microsoft decides to run windows 8 on the nextbox, ANY pc game could run natively assuming the nextbox meets the system requirements. Sony would still have to port any existing PC game to their OS.
