Hate to burst your bubble but xbox and ps4 UI came out lomg before.the SWITch console even came out

Ps4 is a deriviative of the xbox ui

Nintendos UI was horrible until the switch

Of course I also don't like paying more on a monthly service plan. However, every monthly based subscription plan for every service out there costs more than a year plan. That's just a means to an end to get users to purchase a longer subscription plan
for cheaper. (Bait and hook.)

As the others said. You should just buy a prepaid subscription card while they're on sale. They've been popping up left and right during the holidays.
