Why cant we get the authorisation code back to a mobile.

Hi all, WE ARE BEGGING for help with this one. We bought an Xbox x series 2 weeks ago and for the life of us cant get the confirmation code back to my daughters mobile phone. We tried xbox live but they recomended to try Microsoft but for some reason didnt get a call back, just one of them things. But we filled in the refresh form on Microsoft and keeps saying not enough information. We really dont know whats going on as we are putting in the info it asks for (im 60 so not computer savvy and daughter has mental health issues} so we are at a massive loss of what we can do. We paid a lot of money for this in the UK, bought brand new and it came with a 2 yr games pass but we cant use it. This is not helping my daughters health issues at all. PLEASE PLEASE can someone help us. W e do have the proof of sale to shoe what we bought. Some people have said the games pass sounds like its run out, but its supposed to be for 2 years not 1 week.

It's possible to have multiple email addresses associated with one account. As mentioned above, customer support cannot assist with recovering accounts so there isn't a phone number to call. The only option is the online account recovery form. If you're unable to provide enough information to verify ownership of the account, you may want to create a new account at this point.

I think its the question Give 2 email addresses associated with account which we dont understand as she only has 1. Can you explain what they mean then by that please. I just sen it says about scams of tech help. What is the best number to call then please. Sorry we are not that well up on computers so all this has been a bit confusing?

Any type of account? yahoo, google that type of thing? Sorry to keep asking its just we have not got a clue really. I just dnt want to loose the 2 yr games pass that been paid for, if you know what i mean, there not cheap. Thanks and once again sorry.

No worries Kenneth. It can be any type of email address account (Yahoo, Gmail, etc.) that is associated with the Microsoft account specifically.
