Why can't people mod on xbox

This is for Microsoft as a whole, why don't you allow modding on the Xbox. And I know the usual response of "It's because the game developers don't want you to mod the game" or "Modding ruins online gaming". Because for the first one, I have a question for you. If I buy a loaf of bread, I decide what I do with it. I buy a copy of a game and I can't decide what I can do with a copy of a game that I bought? And for the second one, there are private servers for a reason. On public servers I can understand but private ones should be available to mod. And if you say that it's really hard and dangerous to mod on xbox, make it easier. Plus some games were able to get mods for, but you stopped the modding. It's stupid and if this keeps on going, a lot of people would probably quit playing games on Xbox entirely. Maybe quieting games all together. So I ask you why don't you just make it easier, and have more people playing on Xbox.

If a loaf of bread was sold to you, its for consumption.. Just like a shark card

You are NOT buying the bakery, the baker, or the ovens so you can't buy a loaf of bread and walk into the bakery to turn the oven into a fire pit. Well, same goes for game titles.

So, if the game creator says "modding is a bannable punishment" it can't be done. Just like the Xbox states, you will have it banned if you modify it.

I think if they allowed mod building they would have more players and benefit the game asa. If we are pushed as xbox to play asa on series on a PC format we should be allowed to use the PC structures and advantages it's our money we pay for it at least dish us out some decency.

There are games that accept mods as case.by case game basis but usually in-game marketplace or tools

Examples are warcraft command and conquer forge etc

If you want total.mobility you can't do console except the one I use nexus mods for.it

Steam deck

All consoles excrypt their storages it's mot.possible what you are asking with steam.deck being the exception as sony learned countless as time mods and downloads are a major security hole

There will be no mods. That can't be done on XBox. That is why they are introducing the mash ups.
