Why can't my YouTube run over 360p?

I'm gona watch that MrMah0n and i think why its gona be called 720 is because of grapigs like on youtube there is 360p "720p" and 1080P

I recorded some gameplay with the Twitch app but my bandwidth is lacking to get a decent picture. Can only seem to upload to Youtube @360p. I'm using an external Xbox One supported capture device for my clips and can upload them at 720p.

Yea, I've recorded gameplay and uploaded it to YouTube. I don't have any problems with that. Twitch (owned by Amazon), I didn't necessarily have any problems streaming, the Elgato software makes it as simple as a push of a button... my issue/question was
in regards to what bit rate should I be choosing to stream from? The software doesn't auto-detect, it merely says, "You can't stream at this speed. Try this speed." The recommended resolution was something pretty bad, like 360P.

Quality is decent. It's not HD, but give and take, you're getting the same quality as you would for a decent 360p video on YouTube.

They are live, but you also have on-demand. I've never used it, but the option is there.

I am using an ADSL2+ connection and have no issues with streaming. At times, I download at over 600kb/s and the stream works without any issues.

Best part about it? No cancellation fees. You can drop out whenever you like.

...because 1080p - 720p = 360p. No matter how you look at it, it's more p. I game in my tighty whities so more p is never a good thing...
