    Why can't my console connect to the internet properly?


    I have an Xbox Series X that will not connect to the internet, wireless or wired. I've tried to reset both, unplug and replug all cords, allowed the router and console to sit for 5-10 minutes off and unplugged, all to no avail. I run the connectivity test and it always says that "Your console is connected to the internet", but I return to the home screen and I can't open any games that require internet and it still tells me to connect to the internet.

    When dealing with hotel internet, you need another source, such as a laptop or phone, that can access the page you need to properly connect. The console can't do it without the connection being made fully first.
