Why can’t my 9 year old use Xbox live for Sims 4 or Among Us

Just a friendly reminder though that setting up a family setting does not mean that the game and subscriptions will be shared to their account, it is a feature where you can manage a child account.

To get this fixed, you need to set your account as Home Xbox on the console that your daughter is using in that way all profiles logged in to the console will be able to use your subscriptions and games.

1. Sign in to your account.

2. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

3. Select Profile & system > Settings > General > Personalization, and then select My home Xbox.

4. Check "Make this as My Home Xbox".

Also, some games have an age requirement.

Same issue with Madden 18 . Continues to send error message about being signed into ax ox live and EA servers .

My 9 year old is crushed because he can’t use most of the game on the GOAT edition.

So frustrating !

Both PC's and Xbox use Microsoft technology. I use to play the Sims 3 on PC but now can't because it keeps crashing even though my PC's only 2 years old. Have had no probs with the Sims 3 on console. With PC versions you have to worry about PC compatibility
like making sure you have a specific graphics card or CPU speed. Thats why I quit PC gaming and do it on Xbox now. Intel Core i7 processors have is it 4 cores. Xbox One will have an AMD EIGHT CORE Jaguar APU -

LIVE is fine for a 9 year old if it is done right and that sounds like that is what you are trying to do. My 6 year old plays LIVE, but does not talk to anyone. The nine year old also plays live, but has not demonstrated an ability to use the mic yet.
(still make weird sounds, and talks to hear himself talk). The 11 year old can finally handle it and can use the mic. It depends on the child, the safety settings and the supervision.

So my old Xbox one has gold live but it’s not linked to any profile. My son uses it and we gamer share but i can’t use the gold live
