To change the DNS on your router, the first thing you'll need to do is access its configuration interface. If you don't know how to do this, usually just type the address *********** into your browser and enter your administrator credentials.

If that doesn't work or you don't know the administrator credentials, take a look at the bottom of your router: there's usually a label there with the right data on how to proceed. If not, consult the manual that came with your device. Now that you're in the configuration interface, you'll probably find the DNS server configuration menu in the WAN section of the router. If it isn't there, or there isn't a WAN section, look for that option in the LAN, DHCP, or Internet sections. If you still can't find the correct option, refer to your equipment's manual or search Google on how to set up a new DNS on your specific router model.

If none of that works, or if you simply want to set a DNS server individually for each of your devices, here's how to do it.

Primary DNS: 1.1.1.1 Secondary DNS: 1.0.0.1

• Primary DNS: 8.8.8.8
• Secondary DNS: 8.8.4.4

It is very important that you check how the settings were so that you can go back to normal if nothing works.

Thanks. How do I change the DNS of my internet network and what do I change it to (pretend you are speaking to a 4 year old!!!). You may be onto something yesterday (I currently have 2 broadband providers) I changed my laptop to the same broadband as my xbox and then the xbox sign in was not working on my laptop.

The service I'm looking to use are up and running. There are no announcements about this issue.

My region is the United States. My PC and phone do not have an active antivirus, etc., other than the ones that come with windows/android. These devices are not connected to a domain. This seems to be an account problem, and/or like the error states, something on microsoft's end. Finally, when trying to contact live support via the link you provided, the same one I have already tried, there exists no option for live support other than the "gamer chat" that I have already mentioned. Request a call is "currently" unavailable. This is why I'm posting here. Without a phone number to call, there is no way to get in contact to cancel my subscription (to temporarily fix my problem).

There is no phone number attached to my aliases. I tried adding it on multiple browsers but it comes up with amessage 'saying this service is currently unavailable'
