    Why can’t I use my Xbox?


    Gist of the situation is I have a Xbox one s, Just moved across the country and don’t have internet and won’t for a few days still. I simply want to use my Xbox to play DVDs for entertainment. Whenever I try to use anything the Xbox does the “not connected to network go pound sand.” Apparently you have to be connected to a network to go into “offline mode” which makes 0 sense. Am I basically stuck with a useless brick until I get internet? Why is this a thing?
