why can’t i use my skins on minecraft offline?

I understand you need help with Minecraft.

Just a heads up, you cannot change your skin unless connected to the internet. This is because when you go to skin selection, it connects to the Minecraft store to show you your purchases and other skins you can buy.

It needs to be connected to Minecraft servers because skins are part of their servers for you to use them, unfortunately.

So the real question is why did Microsoft fundamentally change the client to require an internet connection for SKINS of all things? THEY coded it that way. why...? We all know how Microsoft loves little psychological tricks to get people to do what they want. In this case to not play offline, but they didn't want to push too hard by requiring the game to be online only. here's the rub. They gimp the experience enough for people to "choose" to do what you want them to do. Just like mobile games. In other words manipulation.... oh crud, looks like I didn't give you anytime to paste your script and went and just answered the question for you. my bad. I dont expect you'll answer this.

Yes when I try to change my skin in Minecraft Java my skin is stuck on the Alex skin but the same skin works for the Bedrock Edition of Minecraft . And I have tried using another skin but that too did not work .

In the menu try finding owned dlc and skins - if the Earth skin is not there then that is why you cant use it. The earth skin is for thoes who made it into the Minecraft Earth mobile BETA.
