Why cant I unblock my friend Xbox just won't allow me any way to fix?

No I never answered my own question. If you read carefully, I said I know what to do to unblock somebody. Then I asked how can I unblock somebody when we've blocked each other? This means I explained that I know how to unblock somebody when he hasn't
blocked me. This means things are harder to deal with when we've blocked each other because if I send him a message, invite or friends request, he won't get either of them so that I can unblock him, same thing visa-versa if he tries to unblock me. I was
asking if there's another way to unblock somebody when he's also blocked me, such as, is there a block list for me to unblock him from or can I unblock him by contacting Xbox Live?

Thanks for replying. Unfortunately, I already tried that and it doesn't work. I cannot accept friend requests on his behalf in any way whatsoever other than through the console. Since there is no longer any way to change his online friend request settings,
I cannot even allow him to add them himself even if I wanted to, which I don't.

I used to simply log in to his account, go to privacy and settings page, then click on accept friend request and set it to allowed. It would then prompt me for the adult account credentials and after inputting those, allow me to make the changes. I would
then accept the friend request then switch the settings back to blocked.

For some reason they decided to remove this feature from the website. I can't imagine why they would do this? I have to assume it was an oversight or some such thing because there is no positive reason to have it removed. Now when I try to accept friend
requests either through his account or mine, it just gives me an error or does nothing at all. I cannot see his account at all when logged in on my account.

I don't know if this has something to do with the new system used with the Xbox One or what but, it is a huge step backward. I was planning on upgrading to Xbox One as soon as they become available again but, with this feature no longer available, I will
have to rethink that.

Currently, the only way to accept friend requests without being in front of my kids consoles is to temporarily allow them to do it themselves via my console. I have to let them add the friend and then block friend requests again via my console. The problem
is, once I unblock it, they can add whoever they want. They can click on every friend request they received in a matter of seconds when I temporarily unblock it for them. So, my only option now is to simply not add any more friends to any of my kids accounts.
Not exactly an ideal solution but, the only one I have now. I just don't understand why they did this.

tried that. I unblocked them and it does, but after a few seconds it blocks them again
