    Why cant i run Halo infinite (PC on Xbox App) ?


    Specs

    gtx 1650 Super

    AMD Ryzen 5 3600

    24GB RAM

    1TB HHD

    *things ive tried*

    -updating window, CPU and GPU drivers

    -Verified installation

    -disabling discord hardware acceleration

    -Firewall disabled

    -Multiple restarts

    i tried to run on admin mode but it didn't grant me permission so i followed the steps on the video ""Fix “You don’t currently have permission to access this folder” Windows 10, 8, 7"" by https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC_M-iWYpQbgo4rK1YfewI5w9 on YT; That didn't work after a restart.

    Now completely tired and out of ideas i ask for your help, ty for reading.

    Howdy, i use Avast antivirus beacuse i am not very bright. so i turned off everything that could affect it, firewall and core shields from that antivirus. And i cant still run it as admin :)

    Hello Fernando, it´s a trick one, in addition to all these alternatives, and disable firewall, have you tried to remove the antivirus you use and only let Windows defender that comes native on the system?

    why do I need to alter my windows 10 when everything else accept halo infinite works as it should? ya ever think that the xbox app for PC for halo infinite was poorly very poorly written?

    Halo Infinite launches in Task Manager but won't open a Window

    Having the same issue. I want to knowledge dump everything I've tried so far that hasn't worked for me, but hopefully might work for some of you.

    I see the game running in Task Manager under Background processes, but nothing loads. 3 processes show:

    • Console Window Host
    • DumpTool.exe (read that 'End task' on this file will load game after a few mins; hasn't worked for me).
    • HaloInfinite.exe
    HaloInfinite.exe is downloading to the hidden WindowsApps folder in File Explorer: C:\Program Files\WindowsApps\Microsoft.254428597CFE2_1.3249.19634.0_x64__8wekyb3d8bbwe

    I've uninstalled/reinstalled/terminated/repaired/reset/uncheck hi-res features the Xbox App/MS Store/Gaming Services/Halo Infinite using a combination of settings/advanced options/wsrest.exe/powershell/cmd prompt still nothing...also restarted the pc a hundred times for those wondering ;)
