Why can't I remove my credit cards from my Microsoft account OR change my password????

I too want to remove a credit card from my account...... the card has expired but is still getting charged and my bank is paying it (WTF) , i just want the card removed as my life has changed but i still want my account. Why cant we remove our credit card
details.....???

I phoned them and they can't do anything. They can't even cancel my account. Microsoft in its infinite wisdom has a system which makes it impossible to reset a password if you can't remember your information.

They have my current email address, my current mailing address, my credit card information and my system ID I gave them from system settings. And they still can't even do a simple password reset for me.

I can't use Live and I can't even bloody cancel the account!

That's the problem here. The guy swapped hes email to my account and created a new blank account (this one) where he put my details... i don't know for real, but this is what ive come up to in my head... And this is why i can't get the account back with
the security questions or phone number... I can't get it why they just can not switch the details back to mine if i can tell them nearly everything of the account and when it was created or the credit card details that i have on the account. Damn this is frustrating...

On the top right, click 'My Account.'

2. Click 'Upgrade/Manage'

3.Enter your password.

4. Once on the page with all the membership options and credit card info. Click 'Change' under the last 4 digits of your credit card. This will then allow you to remove it.
