    Why can't I refund sea of thieves after I gifted it to a friend?


    Recently I gifted my friend Sea of thieves thinking he'll be able to play with me and my friends but he can't and needs game pass to play the game online(which I findstupid since he now owns the game itself) and when I try to refund it on the Microsoft site it's not appearing in the recently purchased and refundable list. I spent 20 dollars on a game my friend can hardy play which I find a waste of money an would like those 20 bucks back.

    Hi,

    meanwhile every console franchise is taking a fee for online gaming. Only free2play games can be played online without a sub.

    You could recommend your friend the Microsoft Rewards program. If your friend frequently collect points (I do that nearly every day) your friend will be able to redeem them for a game pass sub.

    i describe you the problem:

    I buy a gamepass to try Sea of Thieves with friends, the gamepass is activated and he's working no problem with it.

    But when i go on Xbox store & Windows store and type "Sea of thieves" i can't find it (same for every gamepass game)
