    Why can’t I refund a game I purchased in the last 14 days that I played for less than 2 hours?


    Yesterday I bought 7 Days to Die under the idea that it was cross play because I checked the developers website and it says that it’s cross play. However it is not cross play so I requested a refund and was instantly denied due to me have played the game a little bit. I thought I could refund something as long as I haven’t played it for a long time.

    The only problem is that I think the email was automated, however replied anyway and maybe it’ll work.

    I went through all the terms and conditions last week, nowhere does it state 2 hours, it is 14 days and that is it. now steam has a policy of 2 hours played, but nothing in Microsofts terms about playing for more that 2 hours results in no refund.

    i would email back stating they can refund as the game is not working as was expected.

    I would advise you to reply to the denied refund email, and include all these information as a way to appeal the decision!
