Why can't I read or write reviews for Game Pass games?

Okay I must have failed to get the point across properly.

X game is free to play, I write a review for the free edition of x game, that review is then posted under fifty dollar editions of that game. Why?

Unlike some people here, I love to read & write - especially if it's something I like to read & write about (e.g., video games). If offered a job at some sort of video game review magazine/website, I would jump at the opportunity in heartbeat - but we all
know that will never happened (especially since I flunked journalism in college).

I have just tested it on a game pass game that I recently played, and it let me write a review. So whatever the issue you were having has nothing to do with you not owning the game.

Yeah, writing a game off for having a 69% metacritic score is ridiculous.

In fact writing ANY game off for it's Critic score is ridiculous.

Critics are tools. You can usually read between the lines and get a bit of an idea as to what the game is actually like.

You really can't trust reviewers nowadays. They've got their heads stuck so far up their own backsides they wouldn't know a decent game if someone slapped them upside the head with it (case in point: "Ryse").
