Why cant I purchase vbucks from Microsoft account funds?

Yes! It’s there! How do i access the funds to purchase vbucks?

I had a similar problem as i play on both pc and xbox i have to use the funds on my microsoft account via the xbox store to get the vbucks on my account but the i could freely use them between my xbox and pc. Let me know if this works for you.

Side thought. If using the xbox solely when you goto the store to purchase the vbucks when you reach the payment screen it will ask where you want it to draw from your microsoft account balance or a debit ot credit. Just make sure you click use your microsoft
funds and you should be good. Keep us posted

If you are seeing the funds there then you have to go into the microsoft store on the xbox find fortnite and the scroll down to the amount of vbuck you want to purchase

Thanks for the reply. If the Microsoft account balance is essentially a gift card, is there a way to use that to purchase Vbucks? If not, what can we do to facilitate the purchase of Vbucks (or are we really limited with what that Microsoft account balance can buy us?)?

And would you happen to know why the Xbox all of a sudden wouldn’t accept Vbucks purchases via the usual way (PayPal) and sent my son down the path of having to ask a parent (the purchase the Microsoft credit)?

I have just brought v bucks for my son and my Microsoft account but it's not bringing up a redeemable code - how long should I leave it? His xbox is not linked to my Microsoft account.

If you purchased the vbucks from the ingame store or from within the store on Xbox then the vbucks are automatically applied to the account that they were purchased from. You dont get a code.
