Why can’t I purchase the fs22 dlc platinum expansion

I have the same issue with this. I tried to purchase the "Platinum Expansion" earlier today on the Xbox store and it said I already owned it and was supposedly "installed", so I go to the mod hub in the game and it doesn't recognize it. I went ahead and bought the platinum expansion as a "gift" to see if that would work and emailed it to myself and attempted to redeem the code but it wasn't going through (I put it in multiple times, making sure I didn't miss a character). So now I have a code for the expansion, but no way at all to redeem it and play with it. I'm not sure if this is a bug on Xbox's end, my end, or Giant's end.

That's because the expansion for Destiny 2 is not out yet. You'll be able to access it once the first DLC is released.

Thatll be why then ! Wasn't told that when I purchased. Thanks for the info

I haven't checked this after the latest expansion, Elsweyr, since I did not get it yet, anyway the sharing on xbox for ESO works only on the base game since expansions are locked to the account that purchases them.

Again, unless it changed recently, All DLC is linked to your eso account, that's why it is locked.

Thank you for your reply. I did as you described, signed in again and I still don’t see anything in ‘Ready to Install’ section, or even in the game’s Manage add-ons.

And yes, the DLCs are showing in the purchased section in my billing history.

Sorry to hear you are having issues, but follow these steps (in order) and hope it will solve the issue:

1. Check your Check your Xbox purchase history to make sure it has gone through and shows as a purchase.

2. Remove all your profiles on the Xbox One

3. Power cycle/reset your console

4. Add your main profile first and sign in.

5. Look for add ons in the My Games & Apps section to see if they appear and show as ready to install. Check out the Find your
games and add-ons on Xbox One support page.
