My Canadian clan friends are playing the game. Why can't I? I pay for gold too. Is the production company worried I'll bankrupt everybody else?

if any of your friends has their status set to offline that makes it complicated to invite them cause xbox sees them as not on xbox. I have this issue alot and i have to tell my friends to appear online just so i can invite them. U can sometimes bypass this
by inviting your party to game.. But Being Offline is a do not disturb mode so it limits players interacting with each other.

Kindly sign out on your account inside of the game and then restart your device before signing back in.

"Settings > Profile > "Sign out of your Microsoft Account" and confirm by selecting the “Sign Out” button > Quit the app > Restart your device > Re-launch the Minecraft game > From the main menu click "sign-in"

Make sure that you know your Microsoft credentials.

Also, sign in to https://account.xbox.com/settings and from there make sure that these settings are set to “allow” or “everyone”:

* You can see and upload community creations

* You can communicate outside of Xbox Live with voice & text

* Others can communicate with voice, text, or invites

* You can play with people outside of Xbox Live

* You can create and join clubs

* You can join multiplayer games

Make sure to hit “submit” when you made any changes.
