Why can't I play with my friend whose on ps5 and I'm on xbox x (fifa 23)

I have an xbox series x and my friend has ps5, I got a xbox x just to play fifa 23 with him!

Please make sure that the Cross-Play settings are enabled through the menu of the game.

From the main FIFA screen, go to [Customise];

Select [Online Settings];

Select [Matchmaking Options];

Select [Online Settings];

Choose ‘Yes’ for ‘Cross-Play Opt-in/Opt-out’. If you decide to disable crossplay, you just need to change it back to ‘No’.

In my case, my friend has an Xbox X, I have a PS5, we both have Fifa 23 and we both have cross-play enabled, but neither of us can see each other when we search for our IDs. Very disappointing.

You also need to make sure you have the Series and not Xbox One version installed. Old Gen can only match with Old and Next with Next

Yes we both have the ultimate edition fifa 23 he searched his friends on my PS5 and they play on XBOX and they appeared when he put them in
