Why can't I play The witcher 3 on my xbox series S?

I tried what you said to do but it still says I don't own the game. Is this because I bought the xbox one version and not the series X/S version?

I will suggest that you do a procedure on your console, it will not delete any games you have on your console, however it will require you to enter your accounts again on your console.

Press the Xbox  button to open the dashboard.

Select Profile & System > Settings > System > Console Information.

Select Reset Console.

On the Restore console? screen, you will see three options:

Choose the option Restore and keep my games and apps.

After the procedure see if the problem has been fixed.

That's awesome I hope they come through on it especially since Arkham Origins isn't available either. My guess is the Series S loads faster than the game can handle and that's why. But I'm no expert, just a theory because that's what the issues with Witcher 3 was.

Well...thats bad news for me...

So I would have to use both consoles (old "One") and Series S...one to play old disc based games, the other one to play the new and digital games.

My live account still remains the same, I can play my digital "One" version of The Witcher 3 on Series S then?

I bought The Witcher 3 from other country and I can't activate. It says that is not for my Region. Why?
