Why can't I play the full version of "Minecraft For Windows" in my games Library?

when you got xbox one edition they gave everyone the minecraft update for free for console only when it came out, it had to be purchased separately for pc, you have the demo installed.

Yup been running into that today, and playing the trial version of Minecraft the whole time was bullcrap, why can't I play the full version of a game I bought offline?

1. Open Microsoft store

2. Go to your library

3. Click Minecraft Windows 10

4. Click the three dot button next to the blue play button

5. Click on install on my devices

6. Select your computer and after a few seconds it will finish

7. Click Play and the full version of the game should be unlocked

I don't see why you can't. the full version of Minecraft lets you play 2-4 player local co-op. but if you try to play the demo version of Minecraft and it doesn't let you play with more then 1 controller then Minecraft blocks the 2-4
player local co-op on the demo version.

I have bought minecraft v1.2.11 windows pc edition but cannot unlock it on another home device I own . After downloading, installing it when I try to unlock full game it give the above error code and says "Looks like you already own this" "Go to my games
or my library on your home device to download it. "PUR-UserAlreadyOwnsContent"

Same here. Redeemed paid version of Minecraft Windows 10 edition from Xbox one. Now pushed to a new device that is recognized on MS account, and it appears to be installed, but after hitting "play", the "full game" will not unlock.
