Why can’t I play online when I’m game sharing but I have all the persons games ??

This may mean that he no longer have an active subscription. Please ask your brother to follow the steps below using your Xbox console:

“Press the Xbox button on your controller to open the guide, and then select System > Settings > Account > Subscriptions.”

Ask him to validate his subscription if it’s still active and once confirmed, ask him to check the home xbox designation if it’s still set on your Xbox console.

I have bought the game but it still didn’t let me play it for some reason? This is why I’m confused. I’m not new to Xbox and I have never had this issue before. Perhaps it is because it is only playable on cloud gaming and this is why I can’t play it? After I tried playing it and failed so I bought the ultimate pass and then it worked. This is why I’m confused. Hopefully that makes sense and I appreciate your help!

There may be a profile on her Xbox that has an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate or Xbox Live Gold which is being shared to her which is why she can play online multiplayer.

Since she only have Xbox Game Pass for Console that’s the reason why you can’t play online multiplayer.

So it means I can’t share my games without xbox? Because I wanted to share my games to family and play with them online.

I am online. I can’t remove my account from my xbox because then it will delete my home Xbox and the person I am game sharing with does not have anymore “switches”.
