Why can't I play online co op with a friend in Fable 3 on xbox series x?

Thank you, my friend is playing on a series s and had gotten fable 3 from game pass. I own a physical copy of fable 3 so maybe it might have to do with that. I appreciate your reply. We will try it out tomorrow to see if it works. I also had to uninstall all my dlc'S because a message was telling us we cannot play unless we had the same dlc's. But I still un-installed everything but the base game and kept giving us the same message.

if it works with others in the same game it sounds like it's on your friends side.

He/she/it should check if the Nat type of the inet connection is "strict". That could be a reason.

If you're craving for an online RPG then I suggest the Fable Series. You can play co-op in that. There's tons of classics on the Xbox Live Arcade such as Contra. Also be sure to give Sonic Generations a shot if you're a Sonic fan. Anyways good luck

A lot of games do have an option for co-op but you do not have to use it, Fable 4 with co-op would not be bad for those players who have another friend who enjoys the series as well. My friend and I both like fable so I like the option of co-op it would
be nice to actually play the game with another who wants to enjoy the story and combat mechanics as well.
