Why cant i play on any servers in Minecraft on xbox

I have a xbox one s and Like i said i cant play on servers all it says is “you cannot play online multiplayer because of how your Microsoft account is set up. Please ensure your online safety settings allow multiplayer.” I looked at the instructions for doing this but i still cant play even thought multiplayer is already on. I have also tried restarting my console and updating it. Thank you.

Please tell me, do you have an Xbox live gold / Xbox game pass ultimate subscription active in your account?

I ask this because this is a requirement if you want to play online (most of the paid games on consoles has this requirement)

Basically, why cant the Switch version of Minecraft cant see or join LAN servers? Its the same Betrock version, other platforms can so why cant Switch?

2nd question was why isn't there a Steam or Linux version of minecraft so its playable on Steam Deck?

Now they have there new server and a blue ray drive in the console.

I cant see they have any reason why they cant make it massive

Like the crew when that comes out but with forza game play sweet
