Why can't I play multiplayer games?

I have game pass ultimate, I've had it for years

Those have all been set. As I stated in the original post, I have never changed any settings on my Xbox profile. I've had Xbox for over 10 years, and I've had this email address and account for about 10 years. I have never once changed it settings and I don't understand why I can't access online multiplayer. Yesterday morning I was able to access it, and then last night I got on to switch my payment process and then next thing I know I'm not allowed to access online anymore. None of those settings were ever changed on my account, they are all set to allow me to play online. So I'm still at a loss as to why I can't access online

That did not work. I'm getting upset. I am at a loss still as to why I can't play anything. I'm gonna give it more time but I don't know what's wrong

Are you playing on an Xbox console or PC?

If you are on a console, let's try a simple fix, please, power cycle the console to clear its cache data and try again.

To do it, follow these steps:

Turn off your console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds, until it shuts down completely.

Unplug the console's power cable. Wait 60 seconds.

Important Be sure to wait at least 60 seconds. This step resets the power supply.

Plug the console power cable back in.

Press the Xbox button on your console to turn it on.
