    Why cant I play Minecraft java after buying java & bedrock bundle?


    I just bought Minecraft bedrock & java from the MS store but when i try to launch the game in the "Minecraft for windows" tab it defaults to bedrock edition and when I go to the Minecraft launcher it says i still need to buy java.
    I've tried some other launchers like lunar or curseforge but they keep telling me the version isn't compatible or just dont let me log into Minecraft even tho everything is up to date.

    I'm being asked to buy Minecraft: Java and Bedrock edition although I have already owned Bedrock for years and I have Java on my laptop.

    The Xbox edition of Minecraft in the screenshot is still the Bedrock edition, is it not? I should have access to Java through owning the Bedrock edition, and I don't understand why I wouldn't be able to play it if I played Java in the past with my Microsoft account without having to buy Java.

    So I bought the bundle for both Java & Bedrock, and the computer I bought them on I can access both, but if I sign into the Minecraft launcher on a different device, I can only access Java, and it is trying to get me to buy the bundle a second time, keeps telling me that I only bought java.

    Hi, I hope you're doing great out there. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you with your concern.

    First, make sure that the transaction for the game is showing as "completed". Go to https://account.microsoft.com/billing/orders. Once confirmed that it is the bundled and successful, sign out on both Microsoft Store App as well as Xbox App and then sign back in using the correct Microsoft account.

    Install the launcher through the Xbox App itself by searching "Minecraft: Java & Bedrock Edition for PC"

    Probably the most likely reason there are 2 Minecrafts on ur computer is because one is Java and one is Bedrock and if I'm right now Java and bedrock are included in a bundle which is now the standard edition of Minecraft
